NJ Backflow Preventer Testing and Certification
New Jersey State Law states that every commercial property must have a backflow test performed quarterly at their site. A certified plumbing company is required to perform the backflow preventer test. The backflow testing process typically takes between 20 – 30 minutes to complete, if there are no repairs that need to be made. The Backflow Preventer Valves are opened and closed to check for any irregularities, and NJ Backflow Prevention Services submits a form to your local city, reporting if there no code violations.
